Markets

The markets in rural Italy are a celebration of tastes, colors, sounds, people.

Mosts markets combine food and textile, home utilities, shoes, souvenir items, local delicacies, vegetables and fruits directly from the farmers gardens, flowers.


Antique markets are usually held in the first or last weekend of each month. They present the local culture of Italy, from books, paintings, ceramics, jewelry, through furniture to silverware and household objects.

Antique markets

Arrezo: First weekend each month.

Perugia: Last weekend each month.

Todi:  Second Sunday each month.

Spoleto: Second Sunday each month.

Lucca: Third weekend each month.

Rome: Most important market is “Porta Portese” in Trastevere, each Sunday.
